Here in the US we have a diversity of research avenues that relate to the purview of economic psychology. We have neuro-economics, socio-economics, computer simulations of the evolution of cooperation and complexity, consumer psychology and surveys, research on decision-making at conscious and non-conscious levels, and much more. IAREP is a forum where people from these avenues can meet, e-mail and exchange ideas, publish in a communal forum (the Journal Of Economic Psychology) and present at communal conferences that are truly international in scope. It is a remarkable umbrella under which to have economists, psychologists, sociologists, historians, political scientists. I invite you to join.
